CRS rotation system

Notes :
-
JLSZ cw and ccw rotations follow SRS
-
T cw and ccw rotations follow SRS
with the exception of kick 3
-
O spin is finally real
-
I spin is now very predictable
-
180 kicks never shift perpendicular
to rotation direction to avoid asymmetry
-
"dummy kicks" are avoided by creating
exceptions, denoted by colored kicks,
which will be explained in detail below
CRS stands for "Consistent Rotation System"
Criterias / Assumptions of CRS:
-
Kicks have to be symmetric and predictable.
No kicks may not "leave the original position too much"
"Closer" kicks are generally considered first, "Farther" kicks are generally considered last, unless there is a good reason.
-
Kick tables have to be "consistent", which I define by all of the following holding true :
If a kick works, it also has to work the exact same way in the mirror image situation respect to a vertical line.
If a kick works, it also has to work in the same manner, or at least in a similar manner, for the same kick in other pieces.
All rotations of all pieces must have the exact same number of kicks. No more, no less.
No kicks listed in the kick table are allowed to be a "dummy", which means a kick impossible to achieve.
-
"Reasonable kicks" do not exist. No set of kicks can ever satisfy everybody in the world.
Therefore it is better to stick with "logical kicks" rather than "reasonable kicks"
-
For 90 kicks of JLSZ pieces, SRS, the guideline set of kicks, will be considered "complete".
I believe JLSZ are fine in SRS. Who disagrees with me?
-
For 90 kicks of OIT pieces, SRS, the guideline set of kicks, will be considered "incomplete".
O piece cannot perform any kicks other than kick zero. Not consistent. Problem.
I piece has asymmetric and unpredictable kicks. Nobody likes I kicks in SRS. Not consistent. Problem.
T piece cannot perform kick 3 of some situations. Not consistent. Problem.
-
Jstris 180 kicks have no kicks other than kick zero.
Other 90 kicks have up to kick 4. We need all the way up to kick 4 in 180 too, right?
-
Tetrio 180 kicks are asymmetric, therefore not a great 180 kick to use.
One example : N-S (1, 0) and N-S (-1, 0) cannot coexist nor exist without violating symmetry by themselves.
Prioritizing right/left over another sadly can't make sense in terms of symmetry in 180 kicks. Not consistent.
I know tetrio 180 looks cool to some people, but looking cool is not what we want here :(
-
The center of rotation is the ultimate standard point of reference of a piece.
Think everything in terms of the rotation center. Why not?
